2008 county set -up

first of all well done to all those who played at notts. excellent results all round for the mens A and B and Juniors . Especially the B as notts were well up for it needing a 30-14 win to qualify for yarmouth. It just shows what happens when we have players who want to play for each other.

Well onto next season and the full squad now knows that performance and commitment will be the yard stick for next year and if players can't commit to 9/12 games and 4/6 away games don't waste your time or your teammates as we aim to really post a threat all round.

the starting line-up for the first match against west midlands away will be as follows subject to availability but please don't miss this game as playing your way back in will be really hard.

MATCH V WEST MIDS

WELL 4 days to go and let's hope the season follows the trend so far as far as the men go with 25 signed in to travel - this will mean real competition for places and no scratching around.

Don't forget performance and commitment will be the criteria for selection.

we do need to begin to look at how we support each other as regards travelling especially supporting the ladies and juniors.

well prediction time

men's A 24  west mids 20
men's B 26 west mids 18
ladies if we get a full side could still be one short 22 - 22
juniors 22- 22

good luck everyone old and new 2008 is lincs year if we can keep this squad together
