county match v notts awaywell we were always going to be up against it as we had to draft a number of players in at the last moment - so thanks Russ binnington, wayne and max and trev for turning out - once again let down at the 11th hour.
A team another good performance but unfortunately ran out of steam at the end - gary willis with one game won that never was his to win once again showed how the game should be played followed closely behind by myself and steve mooney - 3 out of 4 by all three. We really are just missing those 2 or 3 additionally high quality players which would really increase competitiveness all round .
B team was always going to struggle with 3 or 4 of the higher scoring players missing but the new players will add to the competition needed.
Ladies - hang on in there - really tough match but the experience of playing the best can only help you improve your game - big thanks to Tracy Heaton's daughter for stepping in - am I right in thinking she won a game? if so well done
Juniors - let down by one player which meant onlt 10 -won't happen again -great all roung performance and with Danny and James Pinder now finding their feet -it really is how much do they all want it -to push leicester and west mids close - they have to believe their can do it
next match shrops on the 13th - will they or won't they turn up - watch this space!!!1

LadiesWe were up against it from the beginning as we were let down like the rest at 11th hour due to illnesses, 12 yr old Rachel Heaton stepped in on the Sat night and won a frame, congrats. Although we were beaten 33-11 the score does not reflect the games, Ladies need to believe in themselves and improve their finish. We are a very strong team with great team spirit as we have proved before. 2/4 for Michele Willis, Chrissy Allwood (again with a hangover) and Clare Summerall.
