county match v shropswell 3rd match in and much improved performances all round
A team what can i say the old timer returns and a win prevails 3 out of 4 for the fresh prince with 2 8 ballers to boot. Good performances from danny/picky/ the other old timer willis laid the foundations for a solid win.
B team dave woods from the old fens returned to form with a 4/4 followed by the sheriff capt woodsy, blanty, the new boy fenton and smithy all with 3's enabled the team to put the bad memories of the last game firmly into history.
The ladies as i left were battling well against a solid shrops line-up and the atmosphere there was first class leanne wakefield looks a good new starter and definitely with a consistent turn out the ladies will improve.
At west mids the juniors won 25-19 with 4/4 for kye and ben but once again there needs to be an improvement in the attitude of some. Maybe irrespective of performances a spell on the bench will make some realise that there is no I in team. The committee will be looking closely at this squad make-up at the next match.
Well the big one next and with the rankings proving interesting reading everyone will need to pull out all the stops against leicestershire to either hold their squad position and some their team place as reserves bang on the door.
