Kirkstead V SkegnessA great night was had by all with the Kirkstead narrowly winning 10 -8. With side bets of having to sing on the Karaoke for every frame lost Kirkstead went to pieces. Either their pool was poor or they preferred their singing prowess on stage - only the individuals invloved will will truely know.
The score was down to a weakend Skegness team which had 2 players missing but still put themselves out to travel and not cancel like others might have done. With well deserved wins for some of the junior contingent who are improving with every game, put the pressure on a Kirkstead team that hasn't played for 8 weeks. Several players didn't look like they had even turned up let alone hold a cue, but the team got away with it.
We need to buck up - our luck won't hold out!
