Lincs vs StaffsWow, what a day had by all, some great results throughout, although i cant comment on the guys performance the Ladies should all be proud of their performance and attitude.
We only lost by 4 frames and it was close until the last session. 4/4 by captain Michele Willis and 3/4 for Tracy Heaton (Player of match) Sharon Nadollek and Chrissy Allwood ( who played well on a hangover lol)
There were some very close games and could have gone either way but regardless of result Lincs ladies you were awesome today
Must also mention Claire Summerall who dropped herself in last session for Sam Spooner to come in as reserve, Thanks Claire for making it easier on me.

match v staffs 1st Junewell what can I SAY if people had told me going into today's match that we would have won 2 draw 1 and last the other one by 4 legs I would have sent them straight to drugs testing.
But no it's true and after a frank and honest committee meeting all the captain's went out and convinced the players they are good enough to compete in this region. Those players who didn't turn up and let us down will know it's a long road back.
A team - excellent team performance with every one this time grafting games out when they can - led I MUST SAY BY A 11 ball clearence by myself - 6 OF THE BREAK. Gary willis once again superb bettered only by Jacko's clean sweep although how he pots the blacks with his little lad joining up and down in his eyeline -only J acko knows
welcome back Shakey and Boycie 6 out of 8 between you makes all the difference - foget the stars weren't there when have Staffs ever sent a poor team out - 26-18 - let's now build on this
B team at last some pride coming back - other teams describing us as the worse lincs team they have seen needs some remedying and this needs to be the beginning
welcome back to form the two woodsy's carl and welcome back Harry -Darren coming in hopefully will add undoubted class to the side and here's hoping no more 4/5 players getting 5/6 between them.
Ladies - you are doing LINCS PROUD and your team spirit is just what is needed - well done michelle, chrissy, sharon and tracey - excellent finish at the end there .
Juniors - good performances by Kye ,jake, ben, craig and jamie once the others hit form watch out -believe me these juniors can run the top teams close -let's just kick in now
I have to say atmosphere teams getting behind each other and fighting for every frame - the best performance as a squad for the last 2 years - well done one and all and let's build on it against notts who have described us as pushovers and the worse squad they have seen
thanks everyone for a superb display

Stunningwhat a genuinley top class performance in this game from all concerned. There were very few bad all around performances, the team spirit was there in abundance exactly what we asked for.Get in!!!
Speaking to their team manager yesterday after the game, it was suggested that we were being taken a bit lightly and all staffs had to do was turn up to win.....well i reckon that might send a bit of a shock to the rest of the region for non of the male staffs teams taking a win away from so-called rubbish old lincs.
Well i reckon if we go down to notts with the same drive energy and determination that we did on sunday then they are in for one hell of game whoever they bring along, and all of a sudden we are not the worst team in lincs recent history!!!!

The write up appeared in the Lincs Echo on Saturday, it will also appear in the Target papers hopefully this week and the Standards. I will be looking to send it to other papers this week so if you can all let me know what your local paper is it would be appreciated.
Thanks
