trialsStarting with juniors and ladies - these will take place on the 23rd November commencing at 12 noon but with tables available from 11am.
All players who need to trial will be informed after the leicester game on the 14th -
For new players the cost is £10 but those who don't qualify for the squad will recieve £5 back.
Juniors will need assistance in attending matches as far away as Stoke/Birmingham and Telfords.
For the men the Trials are on the 30th November - same start time and costs as above. All players who trial will be expected to be available for at least 9 of the 12 games and realise travelling will be all day some times. We will be asking for a £10 retainer for new players for shirts which will be paid back if players complete the season.
All players who need to retrial will be informed after the match on the 16th. ANY PAST PLAYERS INTERESTED WILL HAVE TO RETRIAL.
If you qualify from these trials for a squad place you will be expected to attend the match on the 7th December at 4.00p.m to play against existing squad players for a place in the starting line-up for next season.Any returning players need to realise that commitment is every bit as important as availabilty.

trialshi mossy
any one whose not time wasting - if they play interleague for another county then they can't play next year for that team and in our county set up.
hoping maybe some gainsborough players will come back into the fold and grantham but got 15 names to date but no lincoln/gainsborough/skegness as of now
give me a ring if people need any sort of clarification.

trials outcomeswell trials have been and gone
juniors - 3 new players will now join the squad and will definitely strengthen the set-up so well done all 3.
ladies -again 3 more players to help strengthen.
onto the mens -19 players turned up with 16 of those new trialists - after the highly competitive round robin stages the following playoff games took place
David Moss 4 Jon Lord 2
Tim Brown 4 Mike Perkins 3
George Chubb 4 Hazlewood 1
Mark Kelham 4 Andy Mayers 2
The 4 losers then played off for the last 2 places with Mike Perkins and Jon Lord holding their nerves to venture through although both Mayers and Hazlewood will register and are keen to become part of the county set-up.
Well-done those who qualified who will now play off against the bottom 6 players in the existing aquad to see who are in the starting line-up next season.
It was good to see an excellent spirit throughout with many of those who didn't qualify are keen to return next year with a bit more experience under their belts with the world rules.

Hi, Trials are usually held somewhere in November towards the end of the season. Im not sure when they are going to be exactly this year but I would assume it will be around around there again. You might be better off joining "The Lincolnshire County Pool Team" group on facebook for more information because until the website gets sorted out most of the information about county and other bits gets put on there at the minute. Hope This helps.
Cheers
