harry c putting out andy appleton on his way to the last 16
5 man team of dave smith/karl fenton/mark newey/nev campling and myself going out 3-2 in the semis to the eventual winners

well
back again from a great weekend away
highlights must be our team game against the ladies of cleaveland where bertie had to hold his nerve and lots of other things as the distraction of numerous breasts in the face didn't affect his concentration unlike myself and carl who went to pieces as the temptations were too much to bear.
we got to q/f in 5 man team but were out done by callum, jamie, max ,wayne and nev who went out in the semis and it went right down to the wire.
all the lincs lads posted some good wins but the performances of the weekend came from young jamie and callum with a couple of q/f between them
the atmosphere and pool and general great spirit was once again first class - looking forward to october |

well i have to mention dave stayed off the vodka, but attempted to be 3 hours late for his main event.... though it hs to be said that is an improvement on last years 9 hours late and he still made the 3rd round. The hardest moment o the weekend for myself had to be potting ough black in between 2 sets of breasts and in the middle of that was paddys face which was certainly more more off putting than the aforementioned breasts!! Carl(apparently as usual) picked a perfect time to tamper with his tip, which was late friday night less than 12 hours before his main event.......good call mate!!! A worrying prospect for us lads is that the best pool we played all weekend was on saturday night when we were thoroughly tanked up. A thoroughly fun weekend throughout and im looking forward to the next one.
