Saturday 28th June was the date. Kirkstead Holiday Park was the venue. up for grabs was the glorious title of Lincolnshire 2008 Singles Champion.

A reduced list of entrants arrived at 12pm from those names that had originally registered, but it didn't matter as a strong field of EPA card holders all County & Interleague players started of the proceedings in 8 leagues to qualify into the last 16 knock out phase.

All matches in the league phase were best of 7, with the knockout section being best of 9.

The final 16 that went through were:

S Mooney / N Campling / S Bennett / J Pittam / J Turner / M Newey / J Ray / C White / J Blant / P Prince / K Smith / J Raynor / R Christie / M Billingham / M PickWorth / R Calderwood

All matches were played in the best of spirits & consumed with spirits towards the end!

The 2008 Lincolnshire Singles Champion is: Kev Smith

Runner up = Steve Mooney

Losing Semi Finalists = James Ray & Mark Pickworth

Thank you to all those who participated this year and a reminder to you all that any funds that were made over the weekend all go towards running the running costs of the County set up for you. Events like these all go towards lowering the financial burden upon the individuals involved.
